    Great service, was able to look around the car without being hassled, it was just as good as stated on the ad. Let me test drive it and even directed me to a petrol station to give me enough fuel to get me home. I p/x’d my car and I was given a very fair price for that also. I was even contacted a few days later to see how I was getting on with my new car. Faultless service.

    Exercise Caution

    I would strongly recommend sighting the FSH document BEFORE any purchase - mine wasn't available but I trusted that the advertised "FSH" was accurate. (My mistake). Received in the post a (duplicate) service book which showed the last service was 17 months previously (and then only an interim). Again, do check before purchase - my mistake cost me £220 for a much needed service. Also be aware that the warranty has many exclusions including any pre-existing issues, so isn't really like a new car warranty despite its claims. The car sounded its emergency oil alarm after 20 miles - £24. Windscreen washer failed within 4 days - excluded from warranty - £86. Advised to TMC of oil and FSH issue - and requested a contribution for service costs - no response. I don't say avoid TMC at all costs - (a sole trader I think) - they have a good selection cars, but be very cautious and precise with full information on the warranty terms and claims of a "FSH" before you buy.

    Hello Robert We’re sorry you had these small issues but we wasn’t aware and have not heard from you or been in contact since the purchase on 03/11/18.The car was serviced based on year / mileage and didn’t need doing at the time of purchase as it was in the mileage frame of being a full service. If you had got in contact with us then we could of got the screen was bottle fixed and happily serviced it for you. Kindest regards The motor company

    So happy with my new car

    the motor company was great, they had no hesitation to let me test drive my new car on my own, I then went away and then contacted him the next day to put down a deposit, it was taking a while to get the funds together but matt was patient with me and even though there was a lot of interest in my car he stuck to his word and held it for me! So grateful as I am so happy with my new car😍 he also helped me tax the car which saved me doing that! I would definately recommend the motor company, a nice local family run business πŸ‘

    Stress free car shopping

    I have had a good experience buying my new car. There was no pressure sales we was left to look at the car and take it for a test drive. Even in the aftercare I have had a good experience got in contact and they have ben very helpful! Only waiting on a couple of parts for the car(I bought the car very quickly and they had only had the car 1 night. This is the reason for the delay in the parts arriving) but that wouldn't put me off looking at another car from here. Highly recommended as its not often you find a car garage and they don't pressure you into buying something!
